Our First Field Trip

coming soon!

We’re creating our very first immersive virtual field trip, focused on how changing fish populations affect coral reef ecosystems and how coastal communities and scientists are working together to protect these environments. This field trip blends underwater exploration, 360° scenes, data students can analyze, and a narrative that brings science to life.

What Will This Field Trip Explore?

This experience will take students into the heart of a coral reef ecosystem to explore:

  • how fish populations change over time

  • how human activity and community fishing practices influence reefs

  • what scientists observe and measure underwater

  • how data helps us understand ecosystem health

  • how people are working together to restore balance

The field trip is designed for a single class period, with a story students can follow and real science they can see.

What Will Be Included?

This field trip will include:

  • immersive 360° scenes

  • underwater video and field footage

  • real ecological data students can explore

  • a story-driven structure grounded in real science

  • a teacher guide aligned with NGSS

  • discussion questions and simple extensions

Nothing you need to prepare ahead of time. Just press play and explore..

Where We Are Now

We’re currently filming and gathering underwater footage, dockside interviews, and observations from local ecosystems. The storyline is taking shape, and we’re excited to share updates as we make progress.
